Mainly harvested in northern Yemen, Sidr Ushaimi is a deep gold coloured sidr honey which is sweet, rich and bears a fragrant aroma. Sidr honey has also been described as “liquid gold”, and is known for its slightly sticky texture.
As an avid honey consumer and someone who has tried just about everything on the market, I can tell natural, high quality product when I taste it. Hives of Yemen screams "natural": definitely not artificially sweetened and a smooth richness that is very difficult to find. Definitely recommend it for anyone after quality honey that has been extracted and distributed with care.
I did not know honey could taste multi-dimensional. I enjoyed levelling up simple dishes with florally notes from the Sidr honey. If you are looking to impress your dinner guests - add it to your charcuterie board!
